I'm Samantha McCallister, but I began life as a Rellergert. With such an odd/unique German rooted name responsible for my nickname Roogert, I still love it too much to completely let go of it from my art and code. I hope to work in full-stack development someday while still being able to design and illustrate. I realized I wanted to be able to create and code beautiful sites as well as the ability to design their visual components. I am working my way through Codefi's CodeLabs web development program.
I have began a new journey and work as a graphic designer at DSW Signs. Previously I was an in-house graphic artist at ACT Entertainment, where I got to shoot and edit video, photograph products, layout catalogs, design package artwork, and everything in between. Highlights included designing the winning banner during the 2019 Cape Girardeau Corporate Games Division 1 banner contest.

- I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. College highlights include an intern practicum for the Crisp Museum, a purchase award from the annual Juried Student Art Show, and completing the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Florida.
- I grew up in the small area of Uniontown, MO. Here, I attended St. Joseph School, a small four classroom country school, until it closed. I finished my schooling in Cape Girardeau, but I am still a rural kid at heart.
- Besides making art, I enjoy woodworking--trying to follow in my grandfather's footsteps--as well as building MOCs with Lego bricks and engaging with Lego's AFOL community.
